Package Itinerary

Your private tour guide and driver will be waiting when you arrive at the airport and will take you to your lodge. The beautiful shores of Lake Victoria, which are a few meters away from the airport, will give you a great introduction to Uganda’s nature. Your driver will later transfer you to the lodge where you can rest ahead of your adventure. In the morning you’ll be refreshed and ready to go.

After breakfast, head south towards Lake Mburo National Park. Stop briefly at the Equator crossing at Kayabwe, which is a re-known site for photography, as there is a distinct separation of the two different hemispheres of the earth. On arrival at Lake Mburo National Park, have lunch then head out for a game drive in the park, where you will see different wildlife like zebras, buffalos, antelopes, leopard and others. Return to the Lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast embark on an unforgettable walking safari experience guided by the Park rangers. You are likely to encounter different animals like Zebras, Giraffes, Eland and other antelopes, buffaloes, birds and other species. You might also encounter hyenas returning to their dens after a long night of being on the prowl. Later, drive off to Bwindi Impenetrable National park, where you will see nice views of Kigezi highlands on your way to the park. On arrival, head to your lodge for the night.

Head out early in anticipation of an incredible adventure tracking gorillas. It takes an average of 2-6 hours to find them, but the thrill of meeting these gentle giants takes away the pain of the sometimes long and arduous trek. Each encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and resting, as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in delightfully playful manner. After tracking, transfer to Ishasha, the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. On arrival, check into the lodge for a well-deserved rest.

After breakfast, set out for a game drive to view the famous tree climbing lions of Ishasha. This presents a remarkable encounter of the unique tree climbing lions playing on Acacia trees. After the game drive, transfer to the northern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Take the thrilling boat cruise after lunch, 45km along Kazinga Channel. The cruise takes 1.5 hours with possibilities of encountering aquatic species such as Nile Crocodiles and Hippos, not forgetting other wild game that congregate on the channel shores to consume water. This boat cruise is a relaxed way to get some really great photos, and slow down and appreciate the beauty of the park. Retreat from the activity and check into the lodge for the night.

After breakfast, take a morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park. The Park boasts of diverse ecosystems, which include sprawling savanna, shady, humid forests, sparkling lakes and fertile wetlands, making it the ideal habitat for classic big game, ten primate species, including chimpanzees, and over 600 species of birds. Set off for Kibale forest National Park after the game drive. The dramatic landscape of crater lakes cupped under steep hillsides offers a scenic retreat, ideal for long walks and road cycling. On arrival, check into the lodge for the night.

Early breakfast and off for a chimp trekking experience through the famous Kibale Forest. Chimp trekking is a very fascinating lifetime experience. Prepare to spend a number of hours tracking these fascinating creatures. In the afternoon, go for an Ornithological hike on the Bigodi Swamp. This area is recognized for an extensive array of biodiversity, among which are several primate species. After the hike, go to your accommodation for the night.

After breakfast, embark on a return journey to Kampala through Western Uganda. This journey will be rewarded with stunning views as you pass traditional homesteads, small villages and local markets. On arrival, check in at your accommodation for some rest.

Enjoy Breakfast in the morning of your final day in the Pearl of Africa. You may seize the opportunity to shop for a few souvenirs from the crafts market or visit the botanical gardens as you wait for your flight. The splendid Entebbe Botanical gardens lie at the shores of one of the world’s largest fresh water lakes found in Uganda, Lake Victoria. After this, your guide will transfer you to Entebbe International Airport for check in and departure.
