Your private tour guide and driver will be waiting at the airport ready to receive you and brief you about Uganda, the pearl of Africa, when you arrive at the airport. They will then transfer you to the lodge where you will spend the night. If ready for sleep, you will immediately retreat to your room ahead of your journey tomorrow. In the morning you will be refreshed and ready to go.

After breakfast, set off heading North through the Kampala Gulu highway. Visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary located in Nakasongola district, the only home of wild Rhinos in Uganda. After tracking rhinos, enjoy lunch and then continue to Murchison Falls National Park. On arrival, take the ferry to cross to the other side of the park. Check in at your hotel for some well-deserved rest and dinner.

Head out early for a game drive through the savannah grasslands, where you are likely to see Elephants, Zebras, Lions, Buffalos and other wild animals. After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for a boat launch on the River Nile to the bottom of the falls. The launch will be rewarded with stunning views of different bird species, Crocodiles, Hippos and other wild life. At the bottom of the falls, disembark the boat and hike up to the top of these powerful falls. After this amazing experience, return to the lodge for some rest.

Wake up and enjoy breakfast at the lodge. Check out of the lodge and get ready to transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. This is one of the best safari destinations in Africa for Chimpanzee trekking. It also has the highest number and diversity of primates in East Africa. Along the way you are sure to spot local markets, villages and homesteads. Stop for lunch before proceeding to the park. On arrival, check in and rest.

Rise early for breakfast before heading out to the Park Information Centre, where you will be briefed about tracking chimpanzees. After briefing, continue into the forest in search of the chimpanzees. Tracking might take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the chimpanzees. After tracking, have lunch and proceed to Bigodi wetland for a swamp walk, where you will see even more primates, birds, and mammals. You will also get to see locals from surrounding villages, where you can observe the locals’ unique way of life. At the end of the day, return to the lodge for the night.

This morning after breakfast, head South towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, driving through the spectacular landscape characterised with open grasslands, plantations, the rift valley escarpment and various woodlands. Arrive at the park in time for lunch before the afternoon activity. After lunch, head out for the calming boat safari along the Kazinga channel that connects Lake George and Lake Edward. While on the safari you will see wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, warthogs, elephants, kobs and many bird species. Later, retire to the lodge for dinner and the night.

Begin your day with a delicious cup of tea/coffee before getting on with the primate walk through the Kyambura gorge. Enter into this amazing gorge and you will marvel at the rich tropical forest in very close proximity to the equator crossing. The gorge is another world on its own with bustling activity of chimps, monkeys birds, trees and others. After lunch, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through Ishasha sector, which is the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. On arrival, check into your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Start the day with a hearty African breakfast before heading out for the adventure of a lifetime. Your driver will take you to the park headquarters for briefing before you go out for the activity. The trek will bring you face-to-face with the gorillas in the big humid Bwindi forest. Once you see the gorillas, enjoy a close view of these gentle giants performing their daily activities like resting, feeding young ones, playing on the trees and others. The hour you will spend in the company of these human-like animals will fly by so quickly, and then it will be time to head back. At the end of the tracking, return to the lodge for rest, dinner and overnight.

With the amazing memories of the past days, enjoy a heavy tasty breakfast on this last day before embarking on your journey. Check out of the lodge and get ready to drive back to Entebbe.
