2 DAYS – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK AND LAKE MANYARA
This Tanzania safari is ideal for those who want to see the most impressive African animals in a short period of time. Because these two national parks are close to one another, you will not waste time driving between them. Lake Manyara is home to a diverse range of birds, including hornbills, pelicans, and storks, as well as colonies of pink flamingos. You can see lions climbing trees and even stealthy leopards here. Tarangire is famous for its elephant population and the possibility of spotting predators stalking their prey along the river.

Package Itinerary - 2 days, 3 nights!

The group arrives at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Participants are greeted by a Hartlaub’s Travel representative and transferred to a hotel in Arusha.
Please keep in mind that the hotel fee only includes breakfast. Check-in begins at 2:00 p.m.

After breakfast (around 7:30 a.m.), your safari guide will arrive at the hotel and notify the receptionist that he is expecting you. After meeting your driver, you will travel to Tarangire National Park and be on your first safari by 10:00 a.m.
After lunch, you will be served a meal, and the safari will resume. You will be transferred to the hotel in the evening.
This Park offers the opportunity to see a variety of wild Tanzanian animals (lions, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, and so on), but it is best known for its incredible number of elephants, which typically congregate near their drinking source, the Tarangire River.
Because this is wild nature, the guide cannot guarantee the presence of specific wild animals, but you can be assured that he will do his best to find everything you are looking for! The Hartlaub’s team has its own radio channel, which the drivers use to communicate with other guides and collaborate on rare species searches.

Early morning wake-up call, breakfast, and travel to Lake Manyara. This park's entire territory is cut through with ground water streams, which provide a favourable environment for plants as well as a plethora of birds (including pink flamingos) and African forest animals.
You will visit the Maji Moto hot springs around lunchtime, and the driver will provide you with personal lunchboxes. The safari will continue after this stop, and you will be transferred back to your hotel in Arusha by the evening.

Rest at the hotel before transferring to the airport.
Please keep in mind that the hotel's check-out time is 11:00 a.m. If you need to check out late due to an evening flight, you can extend your hotel stay until 6:00 PM for an additional fee.
